SIGN UP TO BE A ROOM PARENT FOR CLASSROOM PARTIES: Help plan and actively run a party in your child’s classroom!

PARTY DATES:

  • Halloween Party – Thursday, October 31st at 2:00 p.m. 
  • Winter Party – Friday, December 20th at 2:00 p.m.
  • Valentine’s Day Party – Friday, February 14th at 2:00 p.m. 

REQUIREMENTS FOR ROOM PARENTS:

  • Must be a current PTO Member

  • Each party will have 4 parent volunteers running the activities

  • Must be willing to submit identification through the Raptor system in the office for each party

  • Room parent slots are filled on a first come, first serve basis. We will start by assigning one party per family to provide the opportunity to as many PTO members that we can. 

  • Only Room Parents on the list for each party will be allowed in the classroom

A HEAD ROOM PARENT is needed for each classroom. WHAT IS A HEAD ROOM PARENT: 

  • The head room parent serves as the main contact between the classroom teacher and coordinating the party planning with the other parent volunteers. 
  • The role of Head Room Parent does not mean they attend all parties. If desired, they can be selected to attend at least one class party.
  • Head room parents can work with their teacher to send a Sign Up Genius to all the parents in the class to help donate party supplies or financial contributions to help pay for supplies.
  • There will be a Head Room Parent Meeting to align on details once all volunteers are selected.

 

Signing up online does not automatically assign you to a party or a head room parent role. You will receive an email confirming which party & any Head Room Parent assignments.

 

SNACKS MUST COME FROM THE SAFE SNACK GUIDE SnackSafely.com  There are different guides on the site based on different allergies so be sure to select the one needed to align with the allergies in your classroom.
